TALENT MANAGEMENT PARTNER 2018 – 2020

Coordinated and managed organization-wide, full life cycle recruitment process to hire the best talent for the Tax Collector’s office. Assisted with employee relations and the planning and administration of the performance management system.

Key Results:

Staff Recruitment and Onboarding: Ensured timely and accurate completion of recruitment and onboarding tasks which included: post and advertise job openings, review resumes/applications, coordinate/conduct interviews, make job offers. Launch and track onboarding events in HRIS. Reviewed approximately 800 applications per recruitment within a one-week recruitment time frame. Deployed pre-employment assessments and reviewed qualified results for next step in recruitment process.

Performance Management Process: Ensured timely and accurate completion of performance management tasks which included: create, assign and review performance measures/forms in HRIS, track progress of reviews to completion, verify and enter merit pay rate changes in HRIS. G4S YOUTH SERVICES, LLC - BARTOW AND TAMPA, FLORIDA

Operates residential facilities for youth who have been court mandated into juvenile justice facilities offering programs for substance abuse recovery, behavioral and mental health treatment. Approximately 2,000 professionals and staff in facilities across four states.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER 2014 - 2016

Provided strategic oversight to 5 residential facilities’ human resource and operation managers regarding policy compliance, auditing, metric reporting and execute the performance management system. Conducted full scope of HR duties, full recruitment life cycle, onboarding, policy and procedure development, performance improvement, administration, payroll, employee relations, record keeping, employee coaching, worker's compensation and unemployment representation, claims and counseling.

Key Results:

Staff Recruitment: Leveraged ATS systems, research of external job boards, social media, job fairs, university career fairs, cold calling and other creative avenues to source, recruit, screen and hire top talent; negotiating an average of 10 new exempt, and non-exempt positions every three weeks. Streamlined recruiting and hiring process to proactively increase hires.

Orientation/Onboarding: Collaborated with management to create an onboarding program for new hires and transfers that included an HR component to assimilate employees into the company culture. New employees felt more connected to their employer, therefore, reducing turnover by 20%.

Employment Law/Employee Relations: Established and conducted training meetings for management to review and understand federal and state employment laws and regulations, employee policies and procedures, interviewing techniques, documenting discipline and to ensure consistent policy administration. The training meetings increased management’s understanding and judgement of sensitive issues, increase employee coaching, increased consistent application of company policies and procedures, which decreased the number of employee grievances and incorrect corrective actions

Employee Relations: Established Employee Gripe Sessions after each monthly staff meeting to counsel employees and work on issues of individual concern. Misunderstandings were resolved, new things learned and the employees knew they had a trusted avenue to communicate with HR.

Performance Management: Created, implemented and coordinated a formal succession planning training program. Partnered with management teams to identify employees and provided an organized mentoring process to train for leadership development and management responsibilities. As a direct result, morale and staff retention increased.

HUMAN RESOURCE COORDINATOR 2012 - 2014

Directed HR operations (recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, financial reports, benefit administration, employee relations, performance metrics, compliance, record keeping, background screenings) for 50+ employees within 2 facilities.
