Supervised Maintenance technicians and mechanics on a daily basis to direct their activities to maintain production of rebuilding/refurbishing used equipment for a new company wide program that was being started at select sites across the U.S.

Coordinated shipments of finished refurbished equipment to locations across the U.S.

Supervised da team of 10 mechanice/installers to isnatll all automated conveying systems in this new facility. Had to adjust work assignments to changing conditions of available new/spare parts used to assemble new conveyors and sorters according to a master construction schedule.

04/2017 – 07/2017- DHL SUPPLY CHAIN - Maintenance Supervisor –

Worked as a contract employee to maintain a cross-dock conveyor operation for a DHL Supply Chain distribution facility. Maintained, repaired and performed PM’s on MAXX-Reach inbounding conveyors entering vehicle tires into a sorting system to ship to Discount Tire Stores across a defined geographic area. Replaced/spliced conveyor belting.

Replaced/repaired motors/gearboxes to run product from 53 foot trailers onto system conveyors for sorting to store locations. Ordered spare parts from vendors and work with generic wholesalers to purchase needed electronic modules for VFD’s and control panels.

08/2016 – 12/2017- ADVANTAGE TECHNICAL RESOURCING - Mechanical Installer

Performed as independent contractor performing work for Lockheed-Martin Postal System Division to build and install a new conveyor modification to older version existing USPS package automation machines into 2 locations for the USPS.

One location was at Omaha, ME and the other was Denver, CO. I assisted with the assembly of parts kits for a complete stand- alone system to be integrated into the older machine and performed acceptance testing to ensure the product met the SOW for performance and reliability.

This effort required parts assembly, motor/gearbox install and testing as well as VFD setup for proper operation.

04/2013 – 04/2015 - JC PENNEYS LOGISTICS - Sr. Maintenance Supervisor - for the JC Penney Alliance Distribution facility on Intermodal Parkway in Haslet, Texas.

●Managed controlled, directed and planned daily tasks for 18 mechanics/technicians/PLC specialist and Parts Room clerks. Maintains (20) twenty H-K ASRS stacker cranes.

●Managed all work performed on building equipment such as Roof top units, air handlers, small chillers to insure they are running for Operations.

●Overhauled/repaired 30 battery powered forklifts successfully.

●Directed work efforts to keep conveyor/sorter equipment availability time above 98%
