Job Description: Saudi Aramco has selected Parsons to provide front end engineering design (FEED), project proposal design packages, procurement assistance, and project management and construction management (PM/CM) services for the Energy Industrial City (EIC) project as needed and as requested. The greenfield project is in Abqaiq, an eastern province of Saudi Arabia. EIC is approximately 45 square km in size and will be developed in the span of 15 years under three phases. Phase 1 covers 15 square km area and will include a mix of industrial, logistics, residential, commercial, retail, education, and government components. Parsons is providing FEED for the lump sum turnkey and lump sum procure and build packages for the various deliverables of the initial infrastructure requirements of Phase 1, which covers both industrial and non-industrial land uses. Parsons will also provide the Design Basis Scoping Document (DBSP) for the Phase 1 of the project, which will address all the scope elements, including the complementary studies, sizing of facilities, infrastructure development, utilities, buildings, and equipment.

Nad Al Sheba Development (Dubai)

Job Description: The Nad Al Sheba Development is a fully planned residential community which features villas and buildings supported by amenities such as mosques, schools, parks and open spaces intended for active and passive recreation, community shopping centers with retail stores, grocery, day care and health clinics. The project is in Nad Al Sheba First Community in Dubai and is connected by an arterial road named as 34th street, inked to Al Ain Road in the East and Al Khail road via Latifa bin Hamdan road on the west. The development site covers an estimated area of 2.84 square km. Parsons scope of work includes urban planning master plan from the concept level up to the detailed master plan. Parsons scope of work also includes the concept design, detailed design, No Objection Certification for all the design, tender documents and tender bid evaluation for all infrastructure elements. Parsons is also providing construction supervision in the development.

Parsons will design, monitor, manage, and control the delivery of the infrastructure for the entire development site based on the approved master plan. Parsons’ scope covers site grading plan and master plan validation (infrastructure only); and conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of internal roads and utilities including production of tender documentation and provision of technical support during the tender phase.
