Project Names: Ulife Anniversary and APS, Beneficiary and Title

Position: Lead Mainframe Developer

Ulife Anniversary and APS is responsible to cycle up anniversary for the new series Ulife policies. Beneficiary and Title is responsible for assisting clients and field with processing owner and beneficiary changes. Worked as a lead in the team for three years. Ulife Series project is the introduction of new policy series at the organization level. Worked as Developer lead for two agile teams in Risk Servicing area which incorporated the requirements in Policy Anniversary process and Beneficiary and Title.

Responsibilities

In Ulife Anniversary and Beneficiary and Title, designed the document layout through workshop and learn the “as-is” to derive the “to-be” model and send the generated APS outputs for printing which will be mailed to the customers.

Worked closely with Business Clients in finalizing the requirements and with Business Analyst in the preparation of design. Handled the planning and deliverable with our offshore team.

This legacy modernization project involved in migration of Mainframes to Business Objects (Informatica). . It involved in migration of batch jobs into Unix server. The main challenge was to identify the limitations in new environment and to migrate more than 15+ jobs in a short timeframe.

Responsibilities:

As a single mainframe resource handled the project alone and migrated from Mainframe to Informatica platform.

Overseen project scope, resource requirements, budget, timeline, deliverables and milestones.

Tracked and monitored the deliverables against time, effort and cost.
