I have a broad range of experience in heavy industrial construction, nuclear, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, commercial and maintenance. I have held positions in construction estimating, management and engineering. My expertise is quite diverse ranging from QA/QE, non-destructive testing of metals to include welding, piping, tanks, pressure vessels, mechanical equipment, HVAC, structural and re-enforcing steel along with civil soils, concrete and underground utilities. I’ve also held qualifications as a radiation worker training instructor, scaffolding and excavation competent person. My highest security clearance held was a "Q" clearance at the DOE's Savannah River Site.

Contract Project Manager/Site Technical Representative

Responsible for all aspects of capital construction projects and maintenance activities requiring specialized work order development. Duties include project scope development for bid purposes, project estimates, contractor qualifications, materials and equipment purchasing, planning, scheduling, safety site training and oversight, budgets, manpower and material controls for numerous projects throughout the company. Seven years’ experience with the Maximo system for work order development, purchasing and inventory. Developed inspection plans for piping systems, code vessels, secondary containment systems, and civil infrastructure system.

Designed a lifting system for product loading. This wench and pulley system greatly benefited operator safety and shortened loading time.

Established a liaison with the lead engineer on the ASME board for temperature monitoring devices. We were able to devise a thermowell design that has remained in service for six years. The previous system rarely lasted 2 months between change outs.

Worked with the assistance of Lafarge concrete to develop a less permeable more acid resistant concrete mix. The resulting mix saved 11% per cubic yard in cost and negated the need for very costly acid resistant sealants and coatings for containment areas.

Developed equipment specific lock out/tag out procedures for all plant pumps, tanks, process towers, blowers and miscellaneous rotating equipment.
