Overall, I think very highly of Dexter and coming from the business enjoy working with him at Stanford.”

September 2014, LinkedIn Review

Sara London (Jacobsen)

Manager, Separately Managed Investments, SMC

“Dexter has truly been a ‘find’ for our organization. He has done a remarkable job in digging into and understanding both our business and our user base. He brings a wealth of technical talent to the table in designing and building database applications, especially in SQL Server. He also has a special skill set that is very rare and precious in this business -- he loves to explain, illustrate, and document what he's done. Most developers fail miserably at that. There is an axiom in team sports that the mark of a truly great player is someone who just naturally, by his or her presence on the field - improves the play of the people around him. Dexter certainly has that quality.”

July 2014 Annual Performance Review

Charles (Chuck) Roller

Manager, Database Administration & System Policy, SMC

“Dexter, thanks again for all your work on the Fund Analysis Tool. The demo I gave to CEO and others performed flawlessly. There were lots of questions and nodding heads. I even heard the CEO say ‘terrific’ ".

November 2013

Diane Sharp, Manager, Valuation & Performance, SMC

“Dexter’s coding style is well-structured and very well-thought out. He has written some truly elegant apps and has made significant contributions in the time that he’s been at SMC. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the group. He makes a point to really understand the business aspects of what it is that he’s developing code for. One very nice and unexpected skill that Dexter has is his ability to lead and conduct training. He has a very robust skill set in Microsoft products and tools, but his ability to explain and train others in those skills as well is a big benefit.”

June 2013, Performance Review
