Quality Engineer

Provide 24/7 quality control support to ISO 9001/IATF 16949 automotive glass assembly plant with continuous production on 4 shifts. Assume direct responsibility for products used at multiple customer sites (Ford, GM, Nissan, and others), to include C-level communication, customer scorecard tracking, and site visits / collaboration with customer quality engineers to resolve customer manufacturing issues involving company products. Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and QA/QC document control to resolve quality control concerns, nonconformance issues, and warranties. Perform statistical data analysis of warranty trends and deliver recommendations to manufacturing. Oversee safety compliance to National and International standards. Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
