Description: CMSRPC is old system and being migrated to new CWM. Testing involved verifying the migrated templates for various asset classes in the new system is working as in the old system. Testing involved migration of various asset classes like swaps, Fx, FRA, swap, swaption, Cap Floor, Credit Derivatives and validating the Swift messages generated and comparing the output in both old and new systems. Testing also involved by generating and verifying the PDF document for each template for various operation centers.

Description: SIM is a centralized log management that manages and collects logs for different point products such as DB, fire walls, OS, SEPM logs etc. These logs are sent to SIM server for correlation and analysis. SIM server will then alert the security admins if any thread is found.

Project 2: Security License Inventory Manager

Client: Symantec

Role: QA Consultant

Environment: Manual Testing, QTP, Windows

Description: SLIM can be used across all Symantec and Veritas products and customers to facilitate license management and assets proactively. SLIM product displays information in a web based console from which you can perform tasks associated with organizing data about installed Symantec assets. SLIM contains a server tier, Agent tier and optional Access Point tier. Server tier consolidates all the information gathered from the agents and Access Points and posts the updates in a secured database at the customer site. Agent tier consists of hosts on which Symantec products are installed. Agent gathers product information by looking at the package and registry for license keys and market files and posted the information to SLIM server or Access Point.

Symantec Web Server Incorporates most of the Tomcat server, and adds a few bug fixes and Enhancements, such as dynamic loading and unloading of Web applications, Improved logging, and integration with VCS.

Description: Safeway is a retail chain with operations in US and Europe. Safeway has multiple stores across various locations. They use Buzz saw for their project management for creating new projects, managing existing store renovations etc. Safeway is existing customer using the old Milano release of Buzz saw. This involves migrating existing Safeway forms, re-implementation of dashboards to the new architecture and regression testing.
