Reduced waste and defects by catching them very early in the process vs towards the end.

Allowed operator to make the proper changes in due time.

Increased production rates and underweight percentages while decreasing overall wastes.

Increased storage capacity by decreasing the amount of waste that sits in the yard. Process Engineer/Supervisor, Clariant - Medical Specialties Dpt. 1) Performed 8D Deep Dive Root Cause Analysis -

• Lead the investigation of defected/contaminated product reaching customer and alleviating the situation by performing 8D. Worked with multiple departments (Quality, IC, Controls Engineering, & Maintenance). Collected and presented information over the course of 3 months.

• Overall Result(s):

Ensured contamination control and avoided any further product recall.

Kept customers and secured further orders.

Built a strong/valuable relationship with customer through collaboration and work [Gemba walk] 2) Lead UV Laser Marking System Improvement -

• Installed and validated new laser marking system to deviate from original ink printing process which was outdated and costly with Maintenance Upkeep. Lead FMEA meetings for safety and created MOC documents for notification. Operators cross-trained to different departments instead of relieved.
