To whom it may concern:
My passion is teaching 2 and 3D studio art and art history. Older adolescence to young adult is my preferred age group. Following that passion is my interest in learning. Hands-on learning experiences provide students the opportunity to develop creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence.
Teaching the core and art curriculum in public and Waldorf schools 2001-2019 supplies my rich and engaged teaching background and interest. I hold a current MA educator license for Visual Art (5-12). I have an M.A. Ed. and a BFA. I have experience teaching classes of 25 students and working 1:1.
I am an engaging teacher dedicated to cultivating the love of art. My skills include working with students toward successful portfolio development and coordinating shows. To use my training and experience to benefit students is my primary goal.
Thank you,
Connie MacLeod
