Academic Projects
1.DIRECT TO HOME RECEIVER (DTH) – DIPLOMA
Platform : EMBEDED SYSTEMS
Environment : EMBEDDED-C
Description:
This is basically Direct to home (DTH) television is a wireless system for delivering television programs directly to the viewer's house. In DTH television, the broadcast signals are transmitted from satellites orbiting the Earth to the viewer's house. Each satellite is located approximately 35,700 km above the Earth in geosynchronous orbit. These satellites receive the signals from the broadcast stations located on Earth and rebroadcast them to the Earth.
2.Implementation of FHSS kernel in Bluetooth using Embedded C – B.Tech
Platform : EMBEDDED SYSTEMS
Environment : EMBEDDED - C
Description:
The main objective of this project is to implementation of Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) kernel in Bluetooth. The FHSS technique uses M different carrier frequencies that are modulated by the source signal. At one moment, the signal modulates one carrier; at the next moment, the signal modulates another carrier frequency. Although the modulation is done using one carrier frequency at a time M frequencies are used in the long run. A pseudorandom code generator, called pseudorandom noise, creates a k-bit pattern for every hopping period.
3.Performance Evaluation in IDMA system using Random Interleavers & Convolution codes – M.Tech
Platform : WINDOWS - 7
Environment : MATLAB - 2010R
Description:
The main objective of this project is Interleave Division Multiple Access (IDMA), which can be considered as a special case of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), has attracted much attention for multiple access communications and has been widely studied in recent years. It is different from CDMA, where orthogonal or quasi orthogonal signature sequences are used in code-domain for user separation, IDMA applies different interleavers to achieve the same function. Since user-specific interleavers can be produced easily in a large number, the limitation of CDMA being the limited number of user specific signal sequence can be avoided and this demonstrates the potential advantage of IDMA over CDMA.
