I am a laboratory technician with extensive experience with a wide range of animal models. Experienced in the design, execution and analysis of both prophylactic and therapeutic medical countermeasures against select agent toxins. Currently working as a Laboratory Technician at the United State Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID). I received my certification by the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science as an Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) in 2004. Prior to joining USAMRIID I worked as a veterinary technician in small animal, exotic animal, and emergency/trauma medicine. I began my career in research in 2004 at Sobran Inc., located on the National Institutes of Health campus in Bethesda, Maryland. I joined USAMRIID in September 2006.
