Technical Business Analyst

Xfinity Mobile is a Comcast division which seeks to expand its mobile services portfolio to their 27.6 million HSD customers by providing a variety of features which aim at expanding its market grip in the telecommunications domain. Xfinity Mobile had undertaken the effort of providing improved mobile services by increasing backend resiliency of the OMS (Order Management System). This effort consisted of developing and implementing in-house BPaaS (Business Process as a Service) microservices. The aim of this undertaking was to increase their customer base and alleviate limitations of third-party systems which resulted in increased development time and reduced flexibility between XM and AMDOCS (third-party vendor). These systems required design of workflow activities and development of new API’s and domains that were populated by REST API endpoints.

Conducted JAD sessions between front-end and back office team to discuss potential changes to the API contract to enhance existing features while future proofing it at the same time.

As a BA for solution design team, created multiple front-end, back-end, and design stories in JIRA using the INVEST format with clear Acceptance Criteria, API endpoint details, and proposed JSON payload.
