MECHANICAL INSPECTOR

Manage Main Contractor, their Sub-Contractors and Suppliers

Manage the duties of team of the Engineers Field Engineers in liaison with Engineers Construction team

Management of NCR Process, both Engineers and Contractors

Plan and coordinate Contractors Inspections, Tests and Laboratories

Carry out Surveillance of the Contractors and Sub-Contractors works

Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to Codes, Standards, Regulations, equipment specific Specifications, and QMS requirements.

Development of QA/QC department & document control department to fulfilled the Project Requirements.

Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.

Managing with Subcontractor for the development and implementation of the PQP, Project documents (Method Statement, ITP, Test forms, & Checklist) as per Project Standard.

Review part for Construction Method Statement, Prequalification of Subcontractor/Specialist System and Material Submittals.

Oversee Supervision & Coordination with Civil & MEP works as per Project Schedule.

Carrying out Site Installation- Inspection with Subcontractor & Project Clients.

Daily Tracking for Client Schedule / Complaints.

Development of Weekly & Monthly QA/QC Report of the Project (including all internal Departments –Submission & Results).

Conducting Weekly Meeting between QA/QC department & Monthly Management meeting for Site Progress & Discrepancies.

Coordination with Subcontractor for Conducting Training /Tool Box Talk for the Site installation team.

Weekly Site walks with QC department.

Taking full responsibility for hold-point releases and construction activities have been completed as per project requirements.

Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies.

Manage construction processes, inspection and QMS internal audits. Managing the development and implementation of the PQP, Project documents (Test forms, ITP, Checklist) as per Company Manual pursue to ISO 9001

Coordinating with the Consultants regarding the site work, Drawings Queries, Material Inspections, Material Submittals, and Method Statement for the Work

Coordinating with Testing & Commissioning team to process/complete the T&C as per project or Company contract clause.

Coordinating with Final Dossiers team for Handover Process.

ROLES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

QA/QC ENGINEER / INSPECTOR – MECHANICAL as Sub-Contractor

Coordinating with site engineers for the daily MEP releases

Ensure that all required daily MEP works were done according to the specifications approved by consultant.

Coordinating with consultant prior site inspection as per daily MEP releases.

Ensure that MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works are done to meet the proposed date prior to consultant’s inspection.

Review Method Statements prior approval.

Conduct inspection of installations, insulations and testing for Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Fighting Installations at site.

Received material as per the approved submittal, LPO & delivery note.

Coordinating with consultant for material inspections.

Arrangement of materials in the store accordingly.

Follow up supplier for materials discrepancy upon delivery.

Coordinate with engineers for proper installations as per approved drawings.

Check / Inspect site installations according to the daily MEP releases.
