M TECH PROJECT – Energy and Exergy analysis of a Solar drying system using Sodium thiosulphate pent hydrate as Phase change material

• Dryer – A System for the reducing the moisture content of products so that the products can be preserved for future usage with the aid of solar energy.

• The Units for undergoing the experimental analysis was fabricated.

• A Solar Dryer consist of three units- Blower, Solar Air Heater, Drying Chamber.

• PCM are installed inside the chamber for heat storage. BTECH PROJECT- Fabrication of Hybrid brake

• Combination of Regenerative and Eddy Brake to a Hybrid Braking System a much improved and efficient braking system can be employed in vehicle.

• Energy generated by regenerative system can be stored and later on used for eddy braking upon demand.

• Hybrid brake was implemented because of the disadvantages in conventional braking system like wear and tear, economical loss etc

• Hybrid brakes are more Economical, Efficient and durable when compared with conventional system. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING UNDERTAKEN

KSRTC CENTRAL WORKSHOP

• Attended a training program at KSRTC Central Workshop, Pappanamcode, Trivandrum.

• The Training Program conducted at KSRTC was mainly concerned with heavy duty vehicles, it’s complaints at a large and also assembly of parts for the launch of new buses.

• The Central workshop includes workshop department and body building department.
