Human Resources Lead

As the HR Leader for this distribution Center, I served as a key point of contact for day-to-day employees and managers inquiries within the company. Managed attendance for approximately 500 plus employees, including the daily attendance of 3 temp agencies. I served as the liaison between the agencies, Supervisors, Managers and corporate Management in the East Coast. Maintained strong communication with the fluctuating 4 shifts, during the week.

Provided assistance and advised Supervisors and Managers on corrective actions, any and all employee issues on a daily basis, coaching within the 4 shifts. Monitored leave of absences, workers comp claims, disabilities, paid and unpaid leaves. Handled on boarding for all new hires as well as terminations and exit interviews.

Approved final payroll with Kronos, and managed ADP employee data entries. Attend daily shift handoff meetings with management, once a week and operations meetings, and once a week agency meetings, where we reviewed any issues in house or agency wide, goals, trainings, review headcount, production control including maintenance and IT.

Managed investigations handled monthly Birthdays for 4 shifts including agency employees. Fostered positive working relationships with employees at all levels, balancing employee advocacy while protecting the company, and managing risk. I translated for over 200 employees alongside company Senior VP to announce closure of Ontario, CA plant. I managed several employee engagement projects, worked on developing a strong and positive company culture. Explained and translated Severance packages to all employees with noted final work day and severance amounts.

Maintained the entire plant informed of upcoming events. Offering an understanding of current HR policies and procedures. Worked hand in hand with Human Resources Corporate Managers regarding critical decisions, as well as with company attorney for accurate execution of sensitive/confidential matters.
