The company’s success was recognized when Jean-Guy Brunet was awarded Finalist in the category of Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce Business Awards - nominated by the Business Development Bank of Canada and TD Bank, for starting a company that grew 400% in the first year of operation. Within 2 years, Applecrate was grossing sales of $1 million.
Applecrate’s work included the award-winning design, writing and production of high-quality print and visual communications materials such as identities, advertising, brochures, books, reports, trade show and exhibits, annual reports and web design.
