Job Responsibilities - Plant Maintenance

Carry through preventative maintenance on various electrical and mechanical equipment such as Generators, transformers, electrical motors, lighting, UPS, Batteries, refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, fire and general alarm systems, emergency shut-down systems, monitoring systems, instrumentation equipments etc.,

Day to day given Maintenance Reports to Higher officer like Managers.

Weekly & Monthly Reports prepared for Maintenance & Requirements check list.

Preparation of purchase Requisitions to Purchase Department for maintenance spare parts.

Power control room operation & maintenance (MCCB,ACB,PMCC,APFC,etc.,)

HT Yard-Substation Maintenance. (11KV, 33 KV, and LV distribution switchboards, Insulators, AB switches, CT & PT, Transformers, etc,)

Implement design changes, make modifications, upgrade or install new equipment as required.

Weekly check all pumps running condition of lubrication, Abnormal noise, Mechanical Seals Leakage, oil level, vibration, etc.,

Responsible for cable laying, Glanding, Jointing of cables installation and commissioning of pressure gauge & pressure switches, level indicators, control valves, etc.,

Trouble shooting and Fault rectification of Control panels.

Operating and Maintenance of 750 KVA DG and 500 KVA DG.

Operating and Maintenance of Air Compressors.

S.S.C (X) from Z.P. High School, Board of Secondary Education (A.P) with 83.8% in 2007.

Main Project Profile:

Title: Improving of Power quality in traction supply systems with high speed train’s motor. Description: The main objective of this project is the traction train’s motor is maintaining constant Torque and Current by using four quadrant converters. Thus the power factor is close to 1 and the low harmonic content is obviously decreased, the rpm and current ratings are measured with IR Sensor.
