Managed the payroll operations team of 16, was responsible for the payroll disbursements process for BAE Systems, Inc.'s over 40,000 employees multi-state and international via the People Soft platform. Oversaw and monitored the department budget and activities to process employee payments electronically (ACH), checks and pay cards. In this role, I mitigated training risks and employee development gaps that existed: By implementing a structured training, development and knowledge transfer process. Updated and expanded desktop procedures, implemented a payroll processing check list, created peer mentoring initiatives and the created and implemented a quality assurance function within the payroll operation.

I was able to effectively automate manual system processes reducing overall production time 30% and increased the teams work life balance, through the use of custom and ad-hoc delivered reporting to streamline payroll audits and variance reporting.
