Digital Content Specialist, Yellow Springs, Ohio January 2020-present I created and implemented a new social media strategy for Antioch College. Events/Communications Intern

I joined the events/communications team for a one-month internship during which I was able to develop in the fields of events management, research, social media marketing, customer service, teamwork, communication, leadership, creativity, and planning. I was tasked with writing various articles for their website. These included interviews with the performing artists, concert reviews, and articles related to music and culture. Additionally, I spent several hours per week researching the performing artists in order to compose a short and concise promotional text for the events page. Communications Intern

My tasks at this company included shadowing the Communications Officer in order to gain an understanding of the mechanisms of communications in event management. I was responsible for writing promotional texts for Facebook and press releases, and for adding content to the Maastricht University newsletter.

In addition, my role at this organization was primarily to act as reporter at events – interviewing and gathering research-based information.
