TOTAL EXPERIENCE: Above 15 Years in a PIPING & MECHANICAL Inspection.
Involved as PIPING,NDT,MECHANICAL in various turnkey projects carry out Visual and Dimensional Inspection of materials & weldments during fabrication as per ITP, Incoming material inspection, Welding consumables inspection. Present items for inspection as per inspection test plan and as per agreement existing (verbal or written) and prepare, verify and issue all reports including inspections by class and owners and obtain their signatures for acceptance. Preparation of Activity Control Plans Witnessed during welding procedure / performance tests, witnessing during Hydro Tests, and Witnessing of Mechanical tests. Witnessing and monitoring NDT activities, Repair removal, Checking of Welding Parameters. Approval of Welder qualification monitoring activities pertaining to QC role
Review of Project scope of work, project specification, Drawings. Review of Radiographs with respect to the Project Specification and Standards. Review of NDT Procedures as per Project Specification and Standards Review of Welding Documents i.e. WPS, Welder Qualification, Weld Plan, Test Plan, etc Maintaining QA/QC Documentation Carryout NDT such as UT, MPI, DPI on Offshore structures like jack up rigs, fixed platforms, Process piping etc., Maintaining the documentation according to approved procedures, preparing method statement and inspection test plan according to client’s/ consultant’s specification.
Awareness of the QA/QC parameters that are involved in the job such as batch certificates, test certificates according to the client’s / consultants specification. Monitoring the activities of the subcontractors/vendors and maintaining the parameters within the specification and within the acceptable limits pertaining to the quality of the job.

Verifying summary and documentation control and ensure all the inspection to be according to ITP. To assist NDT personals and NDT requirements.
Pre-welding and weld joint fit-up inspection, In- process welding inspection.
Percentage coverage of NDE as per applicable standard (by line wise, Drawing wise and welder wise).
Verification, Daily visual inspection of storage and handling. Welding equipment calibration verification
Materials receiving inspection of piping materials, structural materials and welding Electrode and filler materials.
Perform line checking/prepare and check official test pack prior to release for hydro testing by ensuring that all welding inspection and NDT activities affecting the quality of welds contained in each piping spools of an isometric have been completed and accepted.
Preparation of punch list for the balance activities which are not affecting hydro test completion and clear of Punch list and post punch list items after completion of activities and Plant commissioning activities.
Conversant with ANSI, ASTM, ASME, API, AWS Codes and Standards
Witness of Mechanical test for PQR & Welders performance Qualification test as per Approved WPS.
Review/Monitoring the Approved Quality and Inspection plan.
Review/Monitoring with Approved Drawings, Governing Standards and Specifications.
Review fabrication/Erection, documents and work quality in terms of specification, workmanship and other variables as indicated in the above-mentioned documents as per requirements of QC standard operating procedure and client’s specification.
Perform surveillance fit-up and visual inspection of all piping and welding works from piping pre-fabrication to field installation.
Verify/Review weld parameters of SAW, SMAW, and MIG & TIG process to be with in range as specified in approved WPS during the shift on daily basis and maintain the records for CS/LTCS/&NACE/SS/&DUPLEX/LOWALLOY/SS CLAD/Cu-Ni materials.
Quality surveillance, Welding Inspection, Documentation & Dimensional Check & Interpretation of radiographs as per cods & standards.
Preparation of NCR/CAR/Technical Queries and follow up.
Conducting and Witness of WQT & PQR as per ASME Sec IX.
Documentation of reports prepares the As-built drawings to submit to day to day activities.
