I worked with 23 student teachers over the course of two years. 21 teachers secured a teaching job, one student is in a Master’s Program in Education and one student did not make it through the program

Elementary Dean and Director of Pupil Personnel for Williamsburg Independent School in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
As the Elementary Dean, I evaluated teachers, both tenured and non-tenured, conducted ARC meetings, took care of behavior issues with elementary students, conducted teacher’s meetings and any other issues that arose during the course of a day.
As the Director of Pupil Personnel, I submitted documents to the Kentucky Department of Education for funding. I made home visits to meet with parents because their child was close to truancy and went to Juvenile Court as a representative for the school and an advocate for the student.

I taught in a self-contained classroom and departmentalized classes. I taught 4 years in first grade, 2 years in third grade, 1 year in grade 7 and 8, and 15 years in grade 5 math and reading.
