Manage, coordinate and direct the Information System Infrastructure upgrade project. The goal was to implement a paperless desktop environment and subsequently enhance the MoFNE LAN infrastructure. The project composed of project steering committee, project manager and project team member.

Manage, coordinate and direct the Financial Management Information System (FMIS) project. The objective of this project is to select and then implement total of 28 applications to serve the Government of Bahrain needs in the area of Finance and Economy.

As Operation Team Leader

Manage and coordinate the activities of the Operation Team within the BGDRP project. The objective of this project is to develop, and implement, a disaster recovery plan for the critical Government applications.

As Design & Selection Project Manager

Manage and coordinate the activities of the Design & Selection Team within the FMIS Project. The objective of this team is to design and implement an effective and efficient technical infrastructure, which best fits the new FMIS (ORACLE Financials) applications.

The project was completed within its planed time frame.

The proposed technical design was indorsed by me and approved by management in Feb 1996. An RFP was sent to main H/W vendors in Bahrain, and my team evaluated all vendors proposal. A selection and procurement for Digital Alpha servers was made in Aug 1996. The technical environment was established by Dec 1996, and we were in production in Jan 1st 1997.

Installing, supporting & maintaining a variety of products including IBM MVS/XA (CBIPO), JES2, NCP, VTAM and non-IBM package application software. Analyzing changes & system enhancements.
