I have design/drafting experience in the up-stream and down-stream oil/gas-refining, chemical and power generation industries. I have done piping design/drafting creating layouts, standard arrangements, assemblies, isometrics, and flowsheets using, AutoCAD, MicroStation Connect and CAD Worx 3D software. In addition, I have followed ANSI, ASME B31.3, PFI, API, PIP standards and have performed field measurements and verification to create layout designs.

Assigned to Chevron Plant Richmond. Preform inspection of mechanical equipment and piping per engineering corrosion and safety standards. Producing as-built sketches and drawings, transferring to CAD drawings. Created Bill of Materials, Line List, Drawing list and Tie-in list.

Chevron Pasadena – Gas Blending Project. Preform layout and design of piping and equipment for various units within the plant, using CAD Worx software and MicroStation Connect for creating piping and P&ID drawings.

Based off of P&ID and Piping drawings and using B31.1, B31.3 specifications. I determined material needs, performed quality control and created bill of materials for various LNG heater projects. Assured that piping materials conformed to project and engineering standards.

Performed piping design using ANSI, PFI, B31.1, B31.3 specifications, client provided drawings and P&ID’s. Created 3D Models and isometrics for fabrication via CADWorx 2014 an AutoCAD based piping application. Worked with other designers and drafters to insure coordinated design.

PIPING DESIGNER/DRAWING COORDINATOR, BELCAN ENGINEERING GROUP INC BAYTOWN TX

Assigned to Bayer chemical plant.

Performed P&ID walk-downs per HAZOP, MOC and construction as-builts, as well as, created and updated P&ID and Process flowsheets using MicroStation V8i. Organized and maintained data base of all unit specific P&ID and Material Balance drawings. Performed field surveying and subsequent piping and equipment design/layout for updating of CAD drawings per project as-builts. In carrying out these functions I used Bayer Pipe Specifications, which incorporated ASME B31.3 standards.

PIPING DESIGNER I, CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS TEXAS CITY TX

Assigned to Marathon Petroleum Refining Plant.

Performed piping design/layout and drafting for various projects, in different units throughout this plant, based off of self-obtained field survey information and engineering standards (ASME B31.3, API and ANSI). I created all piping plans, P&ID and isometric drawings using AutoCAD 2011, Flex-CAD 3D software and CADWorx. I was also responsible for creating field packages, including tie-in lists, line-lists, MTO’s (material take-offs) for BOM’s, demolition drawings and field letters for construction services.

Assigned to Celanese Chemical Clear Lake and Bishop Texas plants.

Performed piping design/drafting for various projects, in different units throughout these Celanese plants. Responsibilities included design/layout of piping, support steel, foundations, packaged equipment and general equipment layouts, as well as, developing new or existing piping mechanical, isometric, structural and P&ID drawings based off of self-obtained field information (dimensions, field sketches and walk-downs), ASME B31.3, ANSI and PIP standards. In addition, using Microsoft Office Excel and Word, I produced bill of materials, tie-in lists, line lists and assembled field letter design packages (drawing list, cover sheets, demolition drawings, etc.) for construction.
