Installed $40,000,000 railroad wheel plant; plant consisted of completed automated system, including a 10,000-ton press, 5000-ton press, stamping press, 5 robots, rolling mill, new rotary furnace, and an automated control system. Oversaw installation of presses, which included preassembly, redesigning hydraulics and robots. Process/Project Engineer – BCI Biomass Project

Administered process/project engineering for hydrolysis portion of a $90,000,000 ethanol plant. Provided equipment specifications and layout, basic control loops and estimates for plant. Completed pilot testing for sizing equipment and understanding material characteristics associated with equipment; statistical analysis completed on pilot testing. Provided economic justification on using different types of raw materials for a lime plant. The Secretary of Energy and Vice President of the United States evaluated plant technology.

Process Engineer – Carbon Calgon Plant

Assisted in process engineering for two carbon reactivation plants. Plants were valued at

$60,000,000. Oversaw flow diagrams and heat balance for plant. Assisted in piping and instrument diagrams. The plants consisted of a series of neutralization systems, a reactivation furnace, and final processing plant for shipping. Consultant – Tippins Rolling Mill- 1 billion project

Evaluated hydraulic systems for new Tippins sheet rolling mill constructed in Czech Republic. Fielded questions from customer on schematics of hydraulic systems. Consultant – Bell Glade Sugar Processing Plant

Completed construction on moving processing plant from Bell Glade, Florida to Jennings, Louisiana. Chief Engineer responsible for evaluating which equipment would be shipped, utilizing demolition and shipping procedures. Plant demolition and moving costs were estimated at $20,000,000.

Process Engineer – Nitric Acid Plant-$250,000,000 Project-Bayer corporation

Evaluated instrumentation specifications and process flow diagrams for stream turbines for five acid plants constructed in United States and Canada. Provided program determining concentration of Nitric Acid at different pressure and temperature matrix. Proposals

Provided proposal for evaporator and concentrator technology to dry up plant facility. 1988 – 1997 TITANIUM METALS CORPORATION, Henderson, Nevada Project Manager

Designed new $10,000,000 blending/packaging plant and chemistry lab. Blending plant consisted of structural modifications, tilter, blender, labeling system, weigh and feeder system, conveyor system, and inventory management system. Chemistry laboratory consisted of an ingot lab comprised of three electric arc furnaces, drill press, lathes, and a 500 Ton hydraulic press. Sampling lab and storage system was also provided. Senior Process/Project Engineer

Responsible for overall plant process and projects within titanium sponge producing plant including chlorination, purification, magnesium recovery, reduction, distillation, cooling, crushing, blending and melt shop. Designed specific projects within aforementioned units of plant, troubleshot equipment, wrote up maintenance procedures, worked on conveyors, presses, rollers, tumblers, weld chambers, electric arc furnaces, automated vehicles, lid washing units, lid presses, grinders, valves, chlorinators, reduction vessels, and HVAC systems.

Project Engineer

Designed and oversaw projects involving installation of plant facilities up to $10 million. Total value of projects completed in excess of $60 million. Troubleshot equipment and completed drafting and internal rate of return calculations for projects. Design Engineer
