Description:
Project1: The main aim of this project is to implement a common micro-service on CLOUD platform which would be used by two separate teams (Up-Stream Applications). Here the Legacy data from ORACLE was extracted and loaded to the CLOUD DataStore as batch job. The existing service had lot of changes with respect to Contract and came with proposed model which would reside on CLOUD. This was implemented mainly to reduce the response time, improve performance during PEAK Holiday season so that it would not impact customers.
Project2:Macy's Preferred Fulfilment Logic, referred to as PFL or MPFL, is an algorithm based solution to determine the optimal fulfilment locations for customer orders from Macy's and Bloomingdales. The fulfilment locations include stores, distribution centres (DC/ POOL), or vendors. PFL uses anomaly detection, machine learning, and dynamic configurations for optimization which includes cost optimization, Shipping cost, Labor Cost (picking and packing), Ship and Delivery details. PFL gives the customer the Item availability to the customer based fulfilment location, cost efficiency which includes ship and delivery details as well. This project has given the ability for business to configure the ship and delivery details for BOSS(BuyOnlineShipToStore) and Regular orders.
Project3: The MOM (Macy’s Order Management) Returns module would be responsible for processing the customer returns. This Project replaces the existing return process (i.e) mainframes way to java way. Here the services are being replaced by java instead of mainframes, however by taking into consideration the mainframe approach and thus implementing the java approach and they are being validated against the DB2 data storage. The main motto of this project is physical returns where it has a Pended-Return Id, so that Ware house can look at the ID and process accordingly.
