In charged in all tug boats operations, which engage in tug boat services in La Union and other

adjacent ports from Sual, Pangasinan to Ilocos Norte

• Reporting to the Operation Manager for daily dispatch of tugboats

• Communicate with Tug Master when rendering services to vessels coming IN and OUT of

all ports within the jurisdiction of the corporations area of operation

• Monitor vessels arrival / departure and dissemination of information to all concerned parties

• Coordinate with Harbor Pilot Radio Operator about vessels berthing scheduled

Job Descriptions:

Maintained Watch-Keeping of Emergency/distress calls on VHF Radio and handling Telephone calls.

Routine tests/check of VHF radio equipments, maintenance and reapir of VHF radio equipments, maintain records of VHF radio log book

In-charges for workers/passengers for sea transportation.

Coordinate the transport by crew boat for the passenger and provision stores to the dredgers and vessel, responsible for the safety of all passengers.

Coordinates with the Barge Master all system happened in the project especially relevant to dredging operations, informing the Superintendent regarding safety and the situation of their respective vessels.

Monitoring of all vessels working in the project given information to all boat and ships regarding the box anchor of cutter dredgers and other obstruction that can cause accident.

Making contact with vessels on VHF radio system and for emergency cases, also coordinate to the office and superintendent regarding on-signers and off signer crew schedule.

Handling helicopter operation, workboat operations, dredgers and supply vessel operation and or shore base.

Communicate with ships, vessel agents, operations department, marine services providers in order to plan and execute vessel berthing and sailing process.

Initiate security message by VHF or Mail to all vessels at the vicinity and vessel agents for any immediate navigation or safety hazards.

Respond to emergency situation such as distress, marine pollution etc.
