PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

Project Manager:

• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.

• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.

Corporate QA QC Manager / Site QC Manager:

• Preparation of the project quality plan in line with Management guide lines and co- ordination with all sections, obtaining approval and implementation. Ensure preparation and incorporation of all the Work Methods as required by the contract and corresponding Inspection & Test Plans and Formats.

• Responsible for Auditing of all activities and review of all quality documentation according to contract requirements and international codes which include Training, guiding and ensuring Field Quality Department to fulfill accepted/approved quality requirements which include support in performing quality audits for the company’s disciplines and running projects.

• Review and analyze project scope of work/contract and Client Schedule Q in relation to Quality Management and Billing requirements with delegate implementation assignment to each Quality Department. Responsible in putting together all contractual documentations that accompanies the Quality Program for approval by the customer.Review and evaluate

• Project Quality Inspection Program, ITP, QCP, QCF, C.M.A., Method of Statement, Two Weeks Look Ahead Forecast approval and other Quality documentations, schedule prepared in accordance to scope of work/contract and schedule Q prior to submission, review and approval of client counterpart Quality Department.

• Responsible in monitoring and coordination of all Quality Project Team where a particular project is ongoing to ensure that this procedure is implemented and carried out. Prepare and arrange inspection assignment and schedule of client and company supplied materials for required inspection including delegate and monitor handling and storage of material receiving at job site.

• Verifications, monitoring and surveillance of approved materials up to installation inspection to ensure that project quality system is properly and strictly adhered prior to client acceptance/approval in every stage of the projects with completed works.

• Organize and conduct Management Review Meeting at regular intervals at site and reporting to Division Head. Training QMS Internal Auditors for the various projects of the Organization as faculty and Lead Auditor and Guiding, facilitation and orientation of QMS.

• Organizing and conducting Quality audits with the co-ordination of all concerned. Fully aware of the Project Quality System as per ISO 9001-2008 requirements especially in the area of Quality Control Plan, Hold Point System, Periodic Reporting, Inventory Records, Document and Design Control, Non-Compliance Procedure.

• Familiar with material selection for use in classified hazardous area and scheduled of client and company supplied materials for required inspections. Punch listing, processing & updating QC Dossiers & implementing the QC plan & coordination with the client to final acceptance of plant hand over.Read and interpret P & IDS, plans and drawings.

• Ability to write routine reports and “Correspondence” and to communicate effectively before groups of employees of the All Quality Team members functionally reports to; with quality related issues that will be detrimental in achieving the contractual requirements with the customer.

• Responsible in conducting scheduled Project Site Quality Audits in all ongoing projects. These audits are contractual requirements dependent. On Administrative basis, subordinated by the Division Head. Although this may be the case, report to the CEO on a functional basis.

• Primary duties included a reported quality issue that affects the projects. Ensure that this procedure is implemented and carried out; Maintain regular communication with the Top Management by ensuring Quality inspection and test reports are readily available for verification during the regular visit of the Company Management at the project sites and; Ensure all required inspections as per the customer approved inspection and test plans are carried out on time and as per project schedule.

• On a periodic basis, submit to the Division Head, summary QAQC reports and actions taken on all issued nonconformance reports and customer complaints (valid or not) received by the department.

• Ensuring that all required inspection and test reports and necessary QAQC documentations are readily available when it is time to submit with the customer for approval. These documentations reflect the completion status of the construction project.

• Responsible for ensuring all materials, items and services provided by Company suppliers for the project comply with the contractual requirements with the customer. If and when the supplier is not in the approved supplier’s list of the customer, part of this responsibility is to ensure all documentations from Company supplier is submitted to the customer for approval prior to purchasing the stated material.

• In coordination with the Division Head, responsible in the preparation of Inspection and Test Plans, QCP, PQP required by the client, that is, if this document is not customer provided. Responsible in putting together all contractual documentations that accompanies the Quality Program for approval by the customer.

• Responsible for assigning and directing Quality Project Site Engineers/Inspectors to conduct and perform specific tasks and responsibilities described throughout this procedure and Quality Program. Controlling and reviewing of all customer provided construction drawings to ensure that it is consistent with the actual construction. Ensuring systematic review, monitor and surveillance on the status of inspection for stage release of the materials for the project.

• Responsible for the inspection of all material and equipment to be installed in the project and ensure that necessary storage and protection requirements are met based on the contractual requirements and address to person concerned for custody and accidental damage. Responsible for liaising/coordinating with the customer or its representative on all quality related matters Procurement QC Supervisor :

• Monitor Daily procurement inspection activities to ensure compliance to quality procedures and Saudi Standards and Specifications.

• Maintain Quality records and all results related to procurement of project materials are collected and compiled into records.

• Prepare Request for Quotation to approved vendors.

• Prepare Material Technical Approvals.

• Prepare Material Requisition Package.

• Prepare NMRs/SPDPs/IAPs/IDRs Packages.

• Prepare Purchase Requisition for all materials based on applicable Saudi Aramco policy and procedures.

• Source out materials based on contract agreement Schedule G which Saudi Aramco has identified vendors/suppliers from local and overseas.

• Solicit quotations from Non-Saudi Aramco manufacturer/vendors to ascertain valuable technical, commercial information aside from material pricing benefits.

• Review and evaluate with strict confidentiality all supplier/vendors offer to determine the responsiveness and acceptability of bid based on established technical and commercial criteria prior to placement of purchase order.

• Directly relating to supervision of Vendor inspection activities in the Contract Scope of Work

(e.g. oil, gas, and petrochemical projects, infrastructure and communication, etc)

• Secure suppliers/vendor documents submittals on time like Material Requisition, Non-Material Requisitions, Spare Parts Data Package and other related Technical submittals documents.

• Closely monitor commitment dates and deadlines of the materials based on scope of works and construction schedule.

• Control and aim to maintain agreed milestone, delivery dates, if possible work for an option for advancement of delivery dates.

• Submit a regular Material Status Report (MSR) that highlights problematic and critical materials.

• Prepare procurement material correspondence as necessary and required to facilitate material procurement deadlines and milestone.

• Prepare Project Record Book to be submitted to each proponent .

• Supervises and manage site warehouse operation of the project. QC Mechanical/E&I Supervisor:

• To ensure that the quality plan, procedures and objectives are understood and implemented within the quality assurance functions.

• Review and ensure that quality procedures comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, Saudi Aramco's Schedule "Q".

• Manage, coordinate and distribute project specific quality procedures, inspection and test plan and work instruction as required.

• Maintain Quality records and ensure inspection results are collected and compiled into records.

• Review quality program plans, procedures methods statements and working instructions of Vendors/Subcontractors for adequacy in relation to ISO 9001:2000 and Saudi Aramco quality requirements.

• Prepare quality management report.

• Submit Two-Week Look Ahead Schedule.

• Supervise & monitor activities of all QC Inspectors.

• Recommends to QA/QC Manager all violations/ non-compliance of the approved Quality Plan for possible issuance of NCR particularly in construction activities.

• Review discipline inspector/s recommendations for construction non-conformances and communicate to the QA/QC Manager for possible corrective/preventive actions. Responsible for tracking the closure of construction-related NCRs.

• Carry out initial inspections and test of electrical cabling in accordance with the wiring regulation to a Q. A. Plan. Conversant with high and low voltage working practices.

• On a periodic basis, submit to the QC Manager (Client), summary QAQC reports and minutes of weekly meeting including actions taken on all issued nonconformance reports and customer complaints (valid or not) received by the department.

• Ensuring that all required inspection and test reports and necessary QAQC documentations are readily available when it is time to submit with the customer for approval. These documentations reflect the completion status of the construction project.

• Responsible for ensuring all materials, items and services provided by suppliers for the project comply with the contractual requirements with the customer. If and when the supplier is not in the approved supplier’s list of the customer, part of this responsibility is to ensure all documentations from supplier is submitted to the customer for approval prior to purchasing the stated material. Ensuring systematic review, monitor and surveillance on the status of inspection for stage release of the materials for the project.

• Coordination with the Projects Quality Manager and/or Site Quality Manager and the Project Manager which responsible in the preparation of Inspection and Test Plans required by the customer, that is, if this document is not customer provided and putting together all contractual documentations that accompanies the QAQC Program for approval by the customer.

• Responsible for controlling and reviewing of all customers provided updated construction drawings to ensure that it is consistent with the actual construction and prior to use at site as IFC drawing. Lead the inspection activity for all material and equipment to be installed in the project and ensure that necessary storage and protection requirements are met based on the QA QC Engineer /Qc Mechanical/Civil Inspector:

• To check the Documents related to the work as follows Drawing Welding Procedure, Welder Qualification and Project Specification

• Follow up approved Quality Plan / Inspection Test Plan (ITP).

• Reviewing the approved quality plans, manuals and scope of work

• Material inspection for piping, Fittings, and Electrodes.

• Witnessing Alignment, Orientation and Dimensions of Installed pressure parts and Piping items.
