Education/cultural involvement:

Eastern Kentucky University –SPA 321s Spanish for social services. Conducted 30 hrs. of tutoring and teaching English to children and their parents. SPA 492 Capstone Spanish Course. Did a yearlong research project focused on marketing strategies that appeal to the Latino population and how the Spanish language and Latin culture influences advertisements and the economy as a whole.

2 year resident of the living learning community Global Village

Studied in Acapulco, Mexico in the summer of 2012 as well as receiving an 8,000 dollar scholarship to study abroad in Costa Rica & Nicaragua from December 2017 –April 2017
