1.Project Title: Travelers- Geo Coding and ETL Reconciliation

Role: Senior Developer & Team Lead.

Duration & Client: Mar 2019 – Till Date

Summary:

This project includes building Geo coding information in Teradata warehouse by interacting external vendor API’s using Abinitio webservices.Building a re-conciliation process between IMS(Host Data) and CDW(Teradata DB) segments using Abinitio framework. It also includes building datamart in SQL server using SSIS ETL to facilitate Qlik view reports run faster.

Responsibilities:

Understand and track business requirements by facilitating calls with product owner, Business Analyst and other stakeholders on behalf of development team.

Convert Business requirement to Technical Deisgn. Communicate with Host team,external vendors to come up with a design that works for both teams.

Plan the work for self and team along with scrum master. This involves estimating user stories, capacity planning for each sprint and planning release.

2.Project Title: Citi Genesis – Optimized MDW Enablement

Summary:

This project is to build a one place metadata stop for Genesis Datawarehouse, this involve building a surrogate id store for all the dimension and fact data involved across Genesis DW. It also involves validation of new data keys entering into ecosystem and assigning a new/existing surrogate keys. An optimized technical solution was provided to meet business timeline for a batch yield.

Technologies used: Abinitio, AI BRE, AI MHUB, AI control center, Netezza, Oracle

Resposibilities:

Co-ordinate with Data modeling team and off-shore ETL team to understand on Functional and Technical requirements.

Come up with Technical design for implementation by understanding existing code base(if any) and share work with senior developers and developers.

Peform coding and review codes done by other developers. Ensure unit test cases, functional test cases documented for all the changes.

Move all the codes to higher testing environments and drive testing teams to ensure all test cases are executed in higher environments.

Support any production related issues and adhoc enhancement requests provided by users.

Work on automations including code migration tool, Automatic TRL upgrade tools which are self suggested and initiated efforts.

Implement Abinitio functionalities in talend using java to create user defined functions required to support AI functionalities.

3.Project Title : Integrated supply chain

Role: Systems Analyst and Technical Lead

Duration & Client: June 2015 – June 2016 (client is Intel Supply chain team)

Summary:

This project is to integrate supply chain of Intel Acquisition Company with Intel’s supply chain. This is a crucial project for Intel supply chain to make hybrid and flexible to accommodate any of the future acquisitions and supply chain integration into the system.

Technologies used: Abinitio, Terdata, SQL server, visio and Oracle.

Responsibilities:

Understand the Business Requirements and collate, perform fid-gap and system Integration Assessment.

Come up with Design changes by working with Design Lead and Enterprise Architect.

Convert Design requirements into Technical requirements and work with developers across technologies to delegate Technical requirements.

Work closely with Developers for Functional Testing, with up/downstream application teams for Integration Testing, with users for User Acceptance Testing.

As a Technical Lead Help Developers in case of any technical challenges. Plan all the release activities ahead of release time.

4.Project Title: Network Analysis

Role: Big data Developer

Duration & Client: June 2015 – June 2016 (Client is Intel Networks team)

Summary:

This project is to detect an early Major Incident in Network by analyzing series of Events/logs captured by Routers/servers. Network Adapter data produced by every Network element is stored in MY SQL. HDFS is leveraged to deal with large data volumes and HIVE is used to perform ETL.

Technologies Used: HIVE,PIG, SQOOP,HDFS, SQL server, Autosys.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Data scientist to understand the patterns in Data by sampling.

Perform data movement from SQL server for various logging tables into HDFS by squooping data at regular intervals, eventually it was automated

Perform creation of tables in Hadoop and land the source data into these tables, also perform data validations.

Understand data attributes to be united from Data scientist for a particular analysis operation, write a sql query and HQL query and perform data comparisons, automate that analysis query to pull data for different interval data.

Prepare PIG operation flows for sequence of analysis tasks and create Autosys job to schedule these flows to run at intervals.

5.Project Title: Citi Genesis – SK and LOADER process AI to TALEND CONVERSION

Role: Developer

Duration & Client: June 2018 – Feb 2019 (Citi Bank Client)

Summary:

This project is to implement existing SK framework and Netezza loader in ABINITIO to TALEND frame work. This project is intended to save high budget associated with ABINITIO through TALEND (low in cost)

Technologies used: Talend,Java,Ab initio,Netezza.

Responsibilities:

Understanding existing solution in Abinitio and design the requirement in Talend.

Understand capabilities of TALEND that can be leveraged to implement atmost functionalities using Talend DI component set.

Solve features like hash key generation, lookup functionality using hashmaps, etc., using JAVA programming and re-used across the modules.

Streamlined complete SK functionality and performance tuned the jobs to run faster using parallelization techniques.

Implemented Netezza loader functionality to work for multiple process id’s load in parallel.

Involved in reviewing Developers code to make sure the optimized code with all standards maintained.

Worked on Smart search POC, an effort to make google like search on top of database for Non-SQL users. I have contributed in frontend space to create web pages using HTML5 and Angular JS.
