Duties and Responsibilities:

Having excellent Knowledge of DCS (Seimens/ABB), SCADA, Panel and Field Operation in utility, Power plant and Water treatment plant.

Preparation for isolation / De isolation by following SOP

Raising notification (SAP/CMMS) to issue work order for corrective maintenance.

SOP Preparation for normal operation/ Turn around

Acting as a Mentor for fresher

Actively involved in plant start up & Shutdown activity.

To study and raising incident/near miss report (KMS) and trouble shoot the plant problems like frequent upsets and slippages.

Check frequently all equipments normal operation, trend and alarms status on DCS operation.

Conducting shift meeting and tool box meeting followed by PTW/risk assessment

Schedule preparation for First Line Maintenance (FLM) for operators such as running equipment change over, filter replacement, strainer cleaning and preservation of the valves, flanges, and equipments.

All reports preparation like daily production report, loading report, downtime calculation report and process trend for the day, production activity log book.

Involved Pre Commissioning activity Hydro test, Flushing & Air blowing, Steam Blowing, Leak test, Pump Solo run test, Lube oil Flushing, LOTO.

Make rounds on campus, note deficiencies, take corrective actions, and complete operator logs

Aware of H2S & Escape procedure

Manpower handling and co-ordination with maintenance for smoother plant operation.

Working with a team of Engineers and Executives to achieve production, Environment & safety targets

Aware of Power Plant auxiliaries operation such as D.M. Plant, service water, sea water intake & chlorination plant, fuel storage and pumping stations.

Worked and Operational experience in DM plant, SWRO and STP, Sea water Electro chlorination plant.

Experience in handling of Gas/Oil fired Low & High Pressure Boiler STG.

Operation of Vacuum pumps, High pressure multi stage centrifugal pumps and Reciprocating pumps, Air blowers, service & Instrument Air Compressors, heat exchanger, Condenser, Chiller and cooling towers.

Commissioning of the Lamella Clarifier, Gravity Sand filters, Pressure Sand Filters (Horizontal), Cartridge Filters, SWRO Pressure vessel & SWC4+ Membranes, Pressure Exchanger (ERI) of capacity 50m3/hr @ 82bar.

Monitor the Tank Level Reports and order the chemicals.

To make through inspection of equipments and vessels during the shutdown and ensure through cleanness and proper boxing up of the vessels and equipments.

Chemical cleaning of the RO & UF Skid.

Having experience in laboratory to Study/ check the water quality for adjusting the chemical dosing.

Handling Field instruments like PG, PIT, FCV, PCV, Dosing pumps.

In Plant Training Tasks

As an in-plant trainee need to collect all the process operations notes and prepared collective reports and submitted to the divisional operation manager for review.

During training session discussed about the plant processes, routine jobs, start-up, shutdown and emergency handlings.

Study, Reviews of standard operating procedures of the process units.

Learn basic safety standards follow up during working in field.

Reports submitted and examined by the divisional manager.
