Some of my duties for this job were to do the Orientation for new hires coming on site.

h)Oversee that all aspects of the paint procedures as per specifications are followed for each job: proper cleaning before paint, correct paint, correct D.F.T is achieved

j)Compile Turnover Documentation Package(s) as per customer requirements
I was also on the company Safety Committee, complete annual Safety Audits for M.H.S.A. and conduct internal safety training and W.H.M.I.S. training for employees.

My duties as leadhand were to oversee tasks by the preparation shop employees, where all the material was cut, layout completed, and parts assembled, ensuring dimension specifications were adhered to. I also oversaw a crew of 5-10 men and was responsible for the employee training on various pieces of shop equipment (Ironworker, radiograph, saw, etc.). I also ensured the maintenance and repairs of equipment, ordered and tracked stock material.
