Clinical features and predisposing factors for COVID-19. Research ongoing.

Completed 6 months (equivalent to 1 year) research project as per the course requirement for Master of Public Health. It required designing and presenting a study protocol and submitting the report for the hypothesis, “Does smoking increase risk of disc prolapse in individuals aged 20 to 40 years – Case-Control study”.

Designed and presented a ‘research protocol design’ for the topic, “The effectiveness of an anti-tobacco education program in school-going boys aged

10 to12 years in Bangladesh - Cluster Randomised Controlled Trial”, as a part of the assessment for the subject “Study design in Epidemiology” during the course, Master of Public Health.

Designed, presented and submitted report on research protocol design for the hypothesis, “Does transdermal nicotine replacement therapy plus cognitive behavioural therapy reduce the prevalence of smoking among mentally-ill patients 12 months after acute psychiatric hospitalisation - Cluster randomized double-blinded controlled trial”, as a part of the assessment for the subject “Epidemiology in Practice” during the course, Master of Public Health.
