Developed objects for rules based processing of target tables, wrote function module to extend materials to other plants using rules objects, wrote functions to auto-create PR & PO for pre-positioning of vital materials, extended workflows for additional arsenals in latest deployment, added new inbound idocs for latest deployment maintenance contracts control. Viewed and changed many programs to comply with ECC 6.0 uni-code requirements.

Contract ABAP developer for SD & MM applications: SAP release 4.6

Developed MM interfaces for rebuild/recycling of returned set-top boxes and security cards with independent manufacturer (Jabil). Wrote unix scripts and procedures to process event driven input response from manufacturer. Did much performance tuning of batch reports that included SQL tuning and use of sorted tables, and in some cases complete re-writes of programs.

Technical lead for SD & MM teams: SAP R/3 release 4.6c implementation upgraded to: ECC 5 & CRM using XI, and Netweaver.

Responsible for developing rfc enabled function modules that support Order Entry for customer based WEB applications and internal UI for the Enterprise sales force. In addition, developed interfaces to homegrown Product Master via Java connector and Web, including remote access search help and near-real-time interfaces to remote data base systems. Developed many rfc’s supporting such custom applications as multiple credit card entry, product availability, and business filter objects. Security Audit of US Army’s SAP Logistics system: LMP. SAP R/3 release 4.6c implementation.

Member of a technical team that reviewed all code written for US Army looking for any form of imbedded malicious instructions that might cause the system to break down or allow a security breach.

Smart/Erp Project: Team Lead/ Contract Programmer SAP R/3 release 4.6c implementation.

Led a technical team that performed defect resolution during unit test phase of project. Performed defect research and correction in user exits, dialog processing, LSMW workbench corrections, and report enhancement. Subsequently returned to USN to teach an advanced ABAP coding & debugging course to Navy programmers. Additional assignment was to provide external project overview and recommendations for naval management personnel.

Renaissance Project: Contract Programmer SAP R/3 release 4.0b implementation.

Retained to provide critical programming and configuration support to Loop-back efforts in the FI/CO areas. Worked closely with analysts to produce corporate – divisional account authorizations structure and interpretation tables, then developed function calls and BAPI’s to support both inbound transactional and outbound reporting activities. Produced audit reports for Sales & Use tax, produced download modules for Audit requirements, enhanced BAPI’s that produced PCA output, developed modules to provide self-taxing capabilities for manufactured & re-manufactured tools as well as Asset Master postings as needed. Programmed interfaces to Venezuelan taxing authorities and developed HR to AP automated maintenance capabilities. Supported Supply Chain efforts with QM remote function calls, and multiple demand vs. forecast projections and download.
