Responsible for day to day operations of HR, Finance and Associate systems involving in Peoplesoft, Kronos, and HR Analytics. Monitor, identify and resolve any peoplesoft system, application server, webserver, process scheduler, and database performance issues.

Responsibilities include routine Database administration tasks, trouble shooting & tuning inefficient SQL statements. Setup logical and physical backups for all production, training and development databases.

Duties include, migrating the applications /objects from development to Test, UAT and ProductionOracle HCM cloud environments using GIT Library.

Project Lead for upgrading all peoplesoft databases to Oracle 11gR2, and hardware upgrade to new AIX P7 boxes from AIX P5 boxes, as well as for Disaster Recovery methodologies. SQL Performance Analyzer (SPA), database replay were used for SQL and database behaviour, before upgrading to 11gR2 or moving to new hardware.

Typical jobs include applying oracle, peopletools, tuxedo, weblogic patches, as and when necessary.

Upgraded peoletools 8.42.14 to 8.50.08 on Peoplesoft based Datawarehouse application.

Upgraded existing oracle 8i databases to oracle 9i and applied database patches to oracle 9i,and 9i to 10g.

As a PeopleSoft DBA, create and maintain Application Servers, Process Schedulers, Distribution Agents and WebServers. Apply patches to PeopleSoft applications, migrate projects to different environments, and use People Tools for various sysadmin tasks. Assist developers in fine tuning SQL queries.

Upgraded Front Office PeopleTools successfully from 8.14 to 8.15.08 also installed PeopleTools 8.16 using Upgrade Assistant. Upgraded tools HR 7.63 to 7.63.01.

Successfully involved in upgrading HR 7.5 application to HR 8.3, primarily using Upgrade Assistant, and in upgrading peopletools to 8.19.02.

Responsible as DBA for the databases on Sun Solaris 2.5 servers in Dearborn, Michigan, USA and Cologne, Germany. Installed Oracle 7.3.2 on Germany servers and US. Created multiple instances on the US and Germany servers for different databases. Upgraded databases from 7.3.2 to 7.3.3, and Tested migration from 7.x to 8.x.
