Internship Experience
Energy Efficiency Audits (Utilities) March 2018 – Sept 2019
Industrial Assessment Center (IUPUI)
Conduct audits in Industrial Facilities and prepare Assessment Reports
Analyze utility bills and energy usage data to calculate effective rates and identify trends that point to money saving opportunities while recommending energy saving strategies
Perform engineering measurements and analysis on energy need and consumption
Evaluate assessment recommendations such as installing more efficient lighting, replacing or modifying HVAC systems, insulating surfaces with high heat loss, using outside air for air compressor intakes, or installing VFD's on motors with variable loads
Water Level & Monitoring System Designer Aug 2018 – May 2019
Rotoplas
Designed an IoT water level controller and monitoring system for a Mexican company Rotoplas to help residents not only understanding but also regulating their water consumption in their tanks, through implementation of ultrasonic sensors, data analysis (Matlab and Thingspeak) and collection.
The project also used SigFox communication and a solar cell to power up their tanks. In addition, a rechargeable battery in case of absence of the sun. The goal is to help residents managing their water level consumption in order to prevent water shortages.
Work Experience
Implementation Engineer Sept 2019 – Oct 2019
Solinftec Tecsoil, USA
Deliver the system by installing the equipment, deploying the software, test and acceptance of the system at client site, provide customer on the job and theoretical training, as well as prepare and delivery the appropriate documentation and manuals.
Delivery operation efficiency and agronomical solutions relying on technologies tools, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), telecommunications, data processing, data storage in the cloud, linear algorithms, and artificial intelligence (AI).
