Head of Logistics team in the Caribbean and Latin America Region responsible for on time delivery of 2,547 customer orders representing an average of $ 182M USD in revenue annually. End to end Logistics from distribution centers located in the US, Mexico and Thailand to final customers sites in 23 countries. Key clients included Telefonica, Google, Facebook, Amazon, AT&T.

Implemented series of Value Stream projects that generated cost reductions in the order $ 2.97M during 2019 alone.

Created solid business processes for assessing, selecting and managing Third Party Logistics Providers (3PLs)

Developed key performance indicators for Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders and Warehousing and Distribution business partners. Performed monthly and quarterly operational performance reviews to ensure continuous compliance, cost control and process improvements.

Enforced Global Trade Compliance as it relates to Import and Export licenses, Customs Classification, Valuation, Restricted Party List, Homologation, etc.

Initiated the deployment of a Free Trade Agreement program to leverage import duty reductions when importing equipment made in Mexico. Such program represents up to 19% on import duty savings

Developed processes to support reverse logistics including controls to manage the temporary export for repair and return of an average of 3,000 defective units eliminating the need of replacement with a new part, additional import duties and eliminating the risk of potential penalties at customs due to lack of timely closure.

Overall responsible for Sales Inventory management in warehouses in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. Initiated a significant reduction of obsolete and inactive inventory that would result on the elimination of warehouse in Mexico.

Achieved 97% shipments through Customs Green Channel in Brazil (against industry standard of 80%), obtaining clearance time of 2 days.

Managed $20M USD in purchase orders for multiple vendors regionally.

Executed on time International freight distribution and last mile deliveries to support World Cup and Olympic Games in Brazil to over 200 customer sites.
