IBM Watson Health is developing an Enterprise Data Solution (EDS) for Georgia Department of Community Health. The EDS will provide reporting, analytic and predictive capabilities for Medicaid services provided by the state of Georgia. EDS will collect data from 80 plus data sources from multiple data vendors. The EDS architecture stores data coming from different sources into the Staging layer where data structure and data of the tables are similar to the structure of the source data files. From the staging layer data is loaded to Integrated Data Repository (IDR) which is actually an enterprise data warehouse using relational data model and further data marts will be loaded from IDR according to the subject area.
