As a music therapist in the clinical health team for people with a learning disability, I offered assessment and ongoing therapy for people with with a wide range of needs including autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties and those with additional mental health needs.

I was awarded resources to undertake a special project in community group music therapy. This work has been published on in three peer reviewed journals. This has helped LBS to explore and extend the use of music therapy for people with learning disabilities.
