Was appointed as Internal Auditor for Indian Academy college, Bangalore .

Vouched the receipts, fees & donations received and verified if they are as per the regulations laid down by Bangalore University.

Vouched whether the payments made by the college staff is made after required approval and authorisation.

Verified if statutory requirements are met by the college. Which includes :

i.Whether TDS is deducted and remitted on salary paid to employees / Commission paid to agents.

Verified if the rules and regulations pertaining to VAT / CST is followed by the entities.

Any Interest and / or penalty if applicable are remitted.

Concentrated on TDS calculation and remittance – depending on the type of payment TDS were deducted and remitted.

Have supervised the day to day accounting work and handled petty cash.

Calculated and paid the service tax of the firm / company and accordingly filed the service tax returns.

Worked on accounting and remittance made against imports – which includes payment of Customs / clearing duty, TT payment, handling of bills of exchange.

Have processed salary for employees after considering TDS / PT / PF wherever applicable.
