Duties: My duties involved customer service relations. Working with veterans to gain employment by creating accountability and measuring progression of the veteran’s employment. We used creative thinking to resolve issues such as negative condition of post incarcerated veterans in relations to employer’s applicant decisions. By focusing heavily on outside agencies to help us gain opportunities and create employment for veterans. This was directly related to providing customer service that was open and included information to best resolve the hardship. As a VAA I supported clients with the hiring process, which included scheduling interviews, discovering abilities and tactics with employers to actively recruit personnel for job placement. This involved up to 30 different individual per week with a success rate of 85 percent in job placement. Building an in-depth plan that could be personalized for each veteran and make the transition for the hiring mangers more fluid. This strategy kept the retention up for the clients by 35%. Also oversaw ordering of supplies to better help veterans succeed in gaining employment. while maintain multiple different day to day duties.
