From March 1984 to May 1992, I worked for SIDOR (Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela) steel complex in Automation Engineering Division. First as "Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer"; and I got involved in the Siemens Simatic S34 PLCs (STEP 3 Language) Retrofit Project to Simatic S5 PLCs (STEP 5 Language) in ten (10) Plants. Then at the end of 1987 I was promoted to "Automation Engineer I" to be part of the Engineering Development Group (still supporting the Plants Maintenance Group).

From June 1992 until December 1995 I worked for my own company (AM Integral Automation, S.A.). I became an Automation Engineering Services provider for SIDOR, VENALUM, ALCASA and PDVSA & Filliates. In January 1996, I came to Pittsburgh PA (US Steel Tower in downtown) contracted by ABB USA to work in a Project for KOBE Steel for a total of 14 months. After that I started to work as a contractor for Chrysler's Transmission Plant at Kokomo IN. Then I work for General Motors and Ford's facilities near by Detroit MI area.
