I worked with various projects of the care management data warehouse and health data repository.

Responsibilities:

Implemented new Mart for Care Management: This included designed new tables, developed ETL jobs to add new staging tables, dims, and facts for Goals, Barriers, Interventions, and Member Assessments using star-schema principals. The mart was a key success factor in the new Care Management Platform and is used for reporting, operational management, compliance and the Care Management application. Implemented multiple new clients into mart for CarePoint, GuidePoint, Claims fact and dimension tables where applicable.

Built automated processes to support reporting standards for client facing AXIS Data Extracts.

Built reusable processes to load historical eligibility spans for all new client implementations and executed these processes when implementing new clients.

Administered all DataStage projects, added and managed user profiles and privileges, and maintained DataStage software functionality using IBM Websphere integrated solutions console and Infosphere Information Server console.

Installed and implemented DataStage new environment for version 9.1, 11.5, and 11.7.

Upgraded DataStage development environment from 9.1.2 to 11.5 using a dual side-by-side installation to prepare an upgrade throughout all environments to the latest version of DataStage.

Supported, enhanced, and maintained many areas of the McKesson Data Warehouse to include Disease Management Mart, Claims Mart, and Billing Mart.

Launched a new CISCO Mart for telephony reporting and to support CISCO Auto Dialer to send automated calling information to nurses working on the Disease Management system.

Architected and implemented new subject areas of McKesson’s Data Warehouse to include a triage system for a Nurse Advice Line product.

Participated in an upgrade for IBM InfoSphere Information server from version 8.5 to 9.1.2.

I have driven the implementation of more effective techniques of ETL loading than when McKesson Mart was conceived and brought better performance to the loading process.
