Objective

Development Engineer with Producibility Engineering exposure in Aerospace industry. Seeking a challenging position as a Development Engineer/Design Engineer/Producibility Engineer to utilize the acquired skills and experience in Aerospace industry. Professional Experience

3 years of professional experience in an aerospace service providing firm, Belcan (India). Nov 2016- Present Development Engineer (Design Verification and Validation Engineer) Customer: Rolls-Royce, UK Product: Trent Engines

Role: To determine the compliance verification strategy approach (Inspection, Analysis, Demonstration, Rig test, Engine test, Power-plant test and Installed test) for the proposed design solution, which is required to prove that the solution meets the Airworthiness certification requirements framed by certification authorities (EASA, FAA etc). This method is employed to evaluate the design solutions and their effects on the engine and its systems (Safety, Maturity or Endurance, Customer specific requirements). While determining the verification strategy and drafting the verification strategy report, it needs understanding many number of design relevant documents and communicating with different relevant specialists includes chief engineer(s) sometimes.

Post verification, the design solution is validated through a report which demonstrates solution’s compliance against the airworthiness regulations and the needs of the company business for operation in the service environment. The above process can be applied to the new engine introduction during the engine development program and also to the fleet operations, which may be looking at a specific and single component/module level change or introduction. Jan 2019 – Present Design Engineer for Producibility Customer: Rolls-Royce, US Product: Allison Engines Role: To assess the non-conformance identified in the manufacturing plant on the aero-engine part(s) and address it. Typical non-conformances are dimension based or visual damage based or material properties based. Basic approach: Needs to figure out the effect of the non-conforming feature/part at the system level/sub-system level/component level. The assessment generally involves thoroughly understanding the non-conformance and blue-print drawing requirements, then carrying-out a tolerance stack up

(sometimes only for the part, sometimes for whole assembly, and sometimes for sub-assembly), hand calculations and verifying analysis reports (such as stress reports, aerodynamics reports etc) to understand the affect of non- conformance on fit, form and function of non-conforming parts and the assembly. The assessment also sometimes requires the design tool

(Unigraphics). Post the assessment, based on the findings from the assessment, solution will be provided. Typical solutions are: repair(s) or rework(s) or use as is. (Note: there are many non-conformances, and solutions vary case by case, for exemplification i have used majorly faced non- conformances).

To crown up, Producibility engineering tasks demand a great attention and open mind to find solutions to the non-conformances. Education

2012 - 2016 Saint Martin’s Engineering College, Telangana, India Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with First Class (73.16%) 2010-2012 Narayana Junior College, Andhra Pradesh, India Board of Intermediate Education, MPC course with First Class (94.6%) 2009-2010 Saint Paul’s English Medium High School, Andhra Pradesh, India Secondary School Certificate with Grade A1 (88%)
