2009 to Present GANGI BUILDERS, INC. Burbank, CA

Field Superintendent: Responsible for managing multi-phase construction projects, including planning, staffing, scheduling and overall site supervision. Direct pre-construction activities, review technical documents and generate contracts. Ensure the proper execution of site development, including anticipating and evaluating potential problems for quick resolution.

Met or exceeded all critical deadlines, ensuring profitability of multi-million dollar building projects.

Increased profits from 8% to 12%.

Managed a hillside development of a 3-acre site, supervised the construction of 64 condominium pads, built shoring/retaining walls, installed utilities, graded roads and procured all permits.

Installed U/G electrical transmission lines and other utilities. Oversaw rough and fine grading designs in the development of 28 condominiums on a 2 acre site.

Superintendent and Owners Representative: Hired by the owner of this 70-year-old non-denominational, evangelical church to manage owner-selected contractor for the $10 Million construction of a multi-purpose building on the church campus. Oversaw the entire process from initial planning and start-up through completion of structural steel. Negotiated contracts and put the complex schedule together as well as administered the timeline.

Completed project on time and within budget.

Instituted contracts and bidding documents for the high-end project which ensured that crucial details and legal protections were in place.

2006 to 2007 PAGE CONSTRUCTION, INC. North Hollywood, CA

Project Superintendent: Managed and supervised the construction of a 65-unit condominium 5 story type III structure with wood frame and 3 levels of parking beneath a podium deck. Oversaw all details of the building process to completion.

Successfully turned around this failing project to complete the erection of the structure.

2004 to 2006 LEHRER + GANGI ARCHITECTS, LLC Burbank, CA

Site Superintendent: Performed key construction management functions for an Educational Museum Campus in Hemet, California. Spearheaded Platinum LEED Certification, making sure the building met or exceeded national standards and best practices.

Ensured the seamless on-time delivery of work through the cultivation and sustaining of outstanding business relationships with trade unions and agencies.

Supervised the installation of U/G utilities (including electrical power), foundations and the erection of structural steel.

2003 to 2004 GANGI BUILDERS, INC. Glendale, CA

Project Superintendent: Supervised the Mission Meridian Project in South Pasadena. Constructed a $40MM mixed use facility incorporating 5,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, 67 condominium units and underground parking for 275 cars.

Received 4 Golden Nugget Awards for “Improving the Community through exceptional design, planning and development.”

Led environmental review, managed SWPPP, and secured permits for restricted site in a sensitive residential area.

Completed first phase of projects 1 month early.

Project Superintendent & Site Manager: Oversaw the construction of a $35MM retirement living center. Supervised the development of 3 story residential towers with 119 units each that included parking structures and a full service common area.
