Document legacy system Order Management business processes and transition them into the Oracle R12 ERP software in the PPG North American facilities.

•Optimized and supported the new business processes after R12 implementation, documented over 20 new business processes generating over $50K annual savings.

•Resolved a $700K+ accounts receivable issue with Mercedes Benz within a year.

PPG – Troy Automotive Tech Center - Manager Information Systems 06/2000 – 04/2015

Supported in-house developed software that was managing over $500 million dollars sales annually in North America.

•Led a $2 million project to design specifications for Cost per Unit software to be built in house, tested, validated, documented the functionality, developed business processes and training.

•Transitioned all (over 45), North American CPU / consignment programs into the software.

•Directed and managed the support and software enhancements during its 17 years life cycle.

PPG – Troy – Pretreatment - Manager Quality System 08/1993 – 08/1998

Documented the Pretreatment business processes, audited the system, and directed the changes and improvements necessary to conform to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.

•Executed the plan for the first PPG location to achieve the ISO 9001 certification in North America.

•Managed the certification process for 2 other PPG Pretreatment locations, and assisted the certification process for 7 other PPG Coatings and Resin locations.

•Member of the AIAG team that authored the ISO / TS 16949:1999 (Quality Management System in the North America Automotive industry).

PPG – Troy – Pretreatment - Manager Quality Assurance and Services 10/1988 – 08/1993

Established the Quality Assurance program for the PPG North American Pretreatment business, and managed the Quality Control function for the US manufacturing plants. Established raw material specifications, qualification process and quality improvement process for raw material suppliers.

•Directed the toll manufacturing process for Japanese business partner, and oversaw and supported the Pretreatment technology transfer to licensees.

•As a member of the PPG Quality Council championed developing the PPG Quality Training / Improvement course, and delivered it to over 1000 PPG associates in North America, Brazil, Argentina, France, and India.

•Assisted in the implementation of the Tandem ERP system for Pretreatment.

Formulated and developed a series of Pretreatment specialty products still in service today 30+ years later.

•Executed formulation scale up, manufacturing process improvement, and introduced 8 new products for Pretreatment/Specialty products business.
