INDUCTION APPLICATION ENGINEER
CEIA USA, Twinsburg, OH / April 2019 – February 2020
Inspected and conducted repairs on induction heating generators, heads, and coils returned from customers typically same day or the next day after receiving it in
Conducted heating tests on customer samples to determine the optimal equipment configuration to achieve the desired results at a desired production rate
Designed, manufactured, and verified induction heating coils from start to finish in 1-4 hours
Conducted equipment installations at customer manufacturing facilities and trained engineers and machine operators on how to safely use the equipment, what each working parameter means and how to configure them, how to connect the equipment to their network, and how to use the live monitoring and data logging features
Suggested the acquisition of an LCR meter (HIOKI IM3536) to manager and CEO to streamline coil testing and verification; obtained and achieved higher efficiency.
Developed software to be used with the LCR meter that tests a coil across selectable frequency ranges, compiles all of the readings into a .csv file, and finally opens the file in Excel where calculations are done based off the readings. Software was written in VB.NET using Visual Studio and PC to LCR meter communication took place over RS232 PRODUCT ENGEERING INTERN
Texas Instruments, Sugar Land, TX / May 2017 – August 2017
Compiled and analyzed years of data collected from previous product quality tests to determine test variables that would be used in data verification software that ensures utmost quality of units prior to shipping
Collected and analyzed data for a parametric shift evaluation for chips after stress-tests that simulated years of use to examine how the device operates throughout its lifetime EAGLE
