Software Test Engineer, T-Mobile From July, 2019 to October 2019

Worked in FCT(Financial Controls Team) for the reports testing. Involved in different types of testing, data validations and co-ordinating with different teams to gather the data for reports testing.

Brief summary of my contribution:

•Involved in understanding the whole flow of reports and testing them from end to end.

•Understanding the customer data received from production in Excel and then sorting them out as per the requirements.

•Invovled in direct discussions with the production team to gather live reports and then match those reports with the existing ones.

•Identify defects, log tdefects in QC and interact with teams and resolve those at the earliest.

•Involved in test scenario and test case preparation and executing those test cases as and when required.

Senior Software Test Engineer, IHS-Markit From July, 2016 to April 2018

MarkitClear(MC), Markit Loans Reconciliation(MLR) and ClearPar applications, which I worked on, allows market participants to generate and manage documents for settlement of trades. Through MarkitClear, participants get access to real-time data. ClearPar is used to create and settle trades on the same platform.

Brief summary of my contribution:

•Leading a team of 4 people from India for ClearPar project which includes assigning and assessing their tasks, co-ordinating with the US team, delivering the product as per defined timelines, etc.

•End-to-end severe testing of the product.

•Identified and prioritized test cases to automate using Selenium with JAVA.

•Requirement gathering/discussions with the client, BA and developers.

•Integration testing of MarkitClear and ClearPar, being the single point of contact for the same.

•Worked on Data Gathering Matrix, Execution Matrix, Test Plans, Test Closure Reports, etc.

•Defect Tracking and reporting. Preparing error logs, best practice sheets and execution logs for future reference.

•Actively participated in the RCA meetings, discussion with the development team for JAVA code.

•Gathering and analyzing the business requirement details directly from the client and providing directions for testing. Enhance the application as per the business requirements.
