PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (PwC) June 2018 – August 2018 Financial Services Risk Assurance Intern New York, NY Supported 2 Risk Assurance Engagement Teams to complete Service and Organization Controls Report (SOC1 Report), External Audit IT General Controls (ITGC) processes and Business Process Controls testing.

• Audited 70% of Business Processes/ITGC controls for 2 primary clients, AIG and New York Life Insurance Company, focusing on new business, premium/loan repayments, fund-related transactions, and death claim controls. Gathered information from client financial statements to generate 17 Evidence Gathering Activities (EGAs) reports utilized to assess risk and ensure controls effectiveness. Acknowledged for having a played key role in meeting essential deadlines to construct a SOC1 Report, successfully avoiding a previously anticipated 2-week delay for project commencement.

• Directed 10+ Global Delivery Model (GADM) employees based in Calcutta, India by providing instructions and deadlines for control testing using cross-cultural communication and working with a 9-hour time difference.
