I am seeking an part-time or full position in marketing or sales as I finish up my last year at The University of Alabama. I’m currently enrolled in the business school’s distance program due to a prior injury that has since healed. The slower pace of the classes was beneficial back in 2016 right after my surgery, however, now that I’m healthy and anxious to graduate I cannot wait to move on with the next chapter of my life. The less demanding class schedule has given me the ability to have more free time that I would like to use constructively. I have included my resume to the following document for further details.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
Best,
Alex Bauer

RE: Letter of Recommendation for Alex Bauer
To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter as a recommendation for employment for Alex Bauer. I can tell you with certainty, that I am more honored that he has asked me to provide a reference, than he is honored by me writing this. My relationship with Alex goes back almost 4 years, I began working with his family. Over the past few years, I have had the chance to get to know Alex more as we have talked about his career aspirations. The more I have gotten to know Alex, I have begun to see qualities in Alex that would make him successful in the Financial Services industry.
Alex has a very interesting story of perseverance and resiliency. My impression of Alex is that he is one of those people that doesn’t allow bumps in the road to divert him from his path. He has continually focused on what his next goal is, and from what I know, he will work hard to achieve that goal. As Alex starts his career, I know that he will strive to be an outstanding worker, team member and corporate citizen. He has a high level of intellectual curiosity that drives his desire to learn more about the financial world. This has been exemplified through his coursework at University of Alabama as well as his outside activities through research and studying on his own.
If you would like to talk to me directly regarding Alex’s candidacy for employment, please don’t hesitate to call me at 678-***-****.
Sincerely,
Jon Bristow, CFA
